Sample Delivery Made Simple
QDx provides FedEx shipping services as its primary method for transporting samples from your facility to our laboratory in New Jersey. Pre-paid labels and clinical paks are provided in some sample kits and upon request. In certain circumstances, our certified medical couriers can also arrange pickups. Our couriers maintain strict annual certification and are HIPAA-compliant to ensure that chain-of-custody procedures are followed and patient confidentiality is always protected.
QDx will monitor the sample delivery process from start to finish.
- Pre-paid FedEx labels are marked for priority overnight with a delivery time on or before 10:30 am.
- Please make sure to have a 2-hour window when calling FedEx for a same-day pick-up.
- Always keep the FedEx tracking number for reference.
- Samples should be transported in leak-proof, tightly sealed containers.
- Use separate biohazard sample bags for each patient to ensure accurate sample identity and integrity.
- Do not overload the clinical pak envelopes.
- Always remember to include the completed test requisition and paperwork.
